Every two years, conservatives in Colorado gather together as a neighborhood community for their Caucus. There, they discuss issues, find ways to get involved in causes they believe in, and elect representatives who share their values.

This idea is at the heart of CaucusRoom, and we are thrilled to announce we are replicating the spirit of caucus night on our site with the launch of Neighborhoods.

Starting today, when you sign up for CaucusRoom and are verified, you will automatically be added to your neighborhood where you will be able to:

  • Discuss local news and issues of the day with others in your community.
  • Plan and find information on events in your area.
  • Support causes you believe in and join campaigns with your friends and neighbors to have an impact in your neighborhood.
  • Contact your elected representatives.

Posts from your neighborhood will appear in your home feed alongside posts from your groups, and anything you post in your neighborhood will be seen by others near you. Currently, neighborhoods include every conservative on CaucusRoom who lives in your county. As we add more users, neighborhoods may focus further into cities, towns and even precincts.

We hope this feature adds to your CaucusRoom experience, but even more so your experience offline in your actual neighborhood. At CaucusRoom, we believe that connecting neighbors who share conservative values will build on the momentum we all feel on Caucus night, and create a community that will take action and advocate for our values.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our team.
